I have my list and I am definitely curious what you think. I will begin expounding on my list next Monday!! Make a note a visit often!

1. A good leader always remembers whom he follows through his own obedience.
2. A bad leader panics in crisis. He forgets the one he was to follow in obedience.
3 Humility makes a good leader a GREAT leader.
The first is exemplified in Moses who remembered whom he was to follow and whom he owed obedience.
The second is exemplified in Saul when things were going from bad to worse he gave into the epitome of rebellion: Divination.
The third is exemplified by Moses, again. Although his punishment was that he lost out on the privelege to lead Israel into the promise land his act of disobedience was an act (the waters of Meribah); a flash, not a way of life. The stakes were high for Moses being God's high profile leader to lead the children of Israel. His disobedience could be no less and Moses understood and accepted that.
A leader is one who resolutely accepts:
I will suffer
I will learn
I will obey
These three are evident in Moses as well as Jesus.
